Cyndi Lauper Talks Kinky Boots, Her New Reality Show & the 'Struggle of the Juggle' on Today

Pop icon Cyndi Lauper stopped by NBC's Today Show on January 7 to talk about Kinky Boots, the upcoming Broadway musical she penned with Harvey Fierstein. Lauper is also gearing up for the launch of her new reality TV series Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual. During the interview, Lauper told hosts Hoda Kotb and Meredith Vieira about how the last year has felt like a roller coaster ride. "All of a sudden, everything started happening at once," she said of the last 12 months, which included Kinky Boots' out-of-town tryout and the release of her self-titled memoir. Watch Lauper talk about why she agreed to have "the good, the bad and the ugly" of her life documented by TV cameras.
